Description:
Successful implementation of any
system, certainly those using bar codes, is all about clear understanding. Companies using bar codes to enhance the performance of new or existing
warehouse, distribution or logistics systems, must be able to explain what they
want to a supplier. When problems arise, they usually are the result of a lack of
understanding. Sometimes the
misunderstanding is among individuals within a company using the technology. Sometimes the misunderstanding is between the company selling technology
and the one buying the technology. In
any event, precious time is lost and money is wasted while the problem is
resolved
By the end of this class,
students will have worked with a variety of spreadsheets and checklists
to make sure that they have what they need written down in a way that can be
understood b the implementation team, the technology provider and new people who
join the project team.
